FAQs

What is Botched Ink?

Botched Ink® is the most natural way of removing pigment it is a saline solution which is needled into the skin, surprisingly not very painful. Botched Ink® quickly dries out the treated area, and any pigment healed into that skin; pigment is then lifted and removed during the skins natural healing process. Any kind of tattoo removal is a process and Botched Ink® is no different. If you were to have laser it doesn’t necessarily speed up the removal process. If anything Botched ink will remove more as generally lasers cant all see the colours orange, red and yellow.

How can I get in touch?

If you’d like to find out how I can help you, please get in touch. I can give advice by text, WhatsApp or Messenger if you can send me a good clear photo, and please detail what you’re looking to get fixed, corrected or removed and we can go from here.

Does it hurt?

During treatment there’s no lingering burn or sting, just a short mild sting towards the end of the treatment, and this lets us know we’ve soaked the skin sufficiently for the best removal.

As a client you will be required to sit with numbing cream on for 30 minutes prior to your treatment.

How will they heal?

Botched Ink® causes minimal inflammation or irritation, so the healing process it pretty non- eventful apart from a few crusts which is encouraged to aid the pigment removal process. Generally your next session will be 8 weeks after the initial appointment to give you skin sufficient time to heal.

Aftercare

Area will have to remain clean and dry, no products can be applied for up to 7 days until the area has fully healed, you will be given some ointment for during the healing stage. Other than this aftercare is quite simple, making sure to avoid, high impact exercise, swimming, hot tubs, steam and wearing makeup.

How long will it take to remove my brows or lip liner?

Although we’ve seen some great results after just one session, most clients will see improvements after 2-3 sessions. Committing to a course of 3 treatments will be much more beneficial than just having one. During the consultation we can assess how easily the pigment is likely to remove from your skin. Whilst we can’t give you an exact number of sessions to fully remove unwanted pigment, you’ll be able to understand the removal process and know what you’re in for.
