Correction

Here at North East Cosmetics. We understand that not everyone is happy with their permanent procedure and wishes to remove their cosmetic enhancements or undergo a corrective procedure. If your cosmetics has faded up to 50% and you have a shape that is symetrical then its possible to restore brows by covering old permanent makeup. We recommend having a consultation so we can give you a realistic goal.

Laser is not the only option for removal, methods such as saline can safely lighten pigments and is suitable for all skin types. This method can work on old and new tattoos. The goal is to lighten your cosmetic tattoo so blue, green and red undertones will be removed so a full brow can be restored. If we are not achieving your goals or your brow is heavily saturated then I have a recommended laser technician that will help you.

What is Botched Ink saline removal?

Saline removal is a simple and safe method which uses a needle cartridge and the science of osmosis to quite literally pull the pigments to the surface of the skin, the skin crusts and heals thus the tattoo becomes lighter and lighter as the pigments or inks are drawn away. Lightening of the area being treated usually begins after the 2nd or 3rd session, but it could take many sessions to completely remove. There is no such thing as a quick fix.

For the removal of ill placed eyebrows the object would be to lighten the area enough to be able to replace and re draw. When eyebrows have been tattooed with black, or a dark pigment which has healed extremely cool, blue, grey or mauve, this process can’t guarantee complete removal but will reduce the colour so a new template can be achieved.

Saline removal is only recommended for small areas, whether this be a body tattoo or eyebrows. Laser is an option however the salt and saline method has been a long term proven method that works and is less harsh on the skin.

Correction Work

Client had previously microbladed by another technician and was highly saturated with pigment. Our client didn't want salt and saline so with options limited we covered them over them with a combination. Fluffy hair strokes microbladed in and then shading performed with the machine.

This is possible to go over old permanent makeup aslong as the colour has faded up to 50% and the shape can be restored and remain complimentary.
